A vintage-leaning café near the harbour that’s big on comfort: breakfasts, homemade waffles, cream teas, and plenty of cake-based decision making. They shout about catering for different dietary needs too, so it’s a good one for mixed groups where everyone wants something slightly different. It’s a lovely stop after a harbour wander when the wind has rearranged your hair into “sea creature chic” and your dog is ready for the sit-down part of the day. Dogs are welcome inside, so you can all warm up together. Keep the doggy etiquette sweet: no licking plates, no hovering under other tables like a tiny pastry detective, and please don’t attempt to carry off a waffle by stealth.

Good to know:

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside. Cosy café rules: calm settle, no wandering greetings, and absolutely no trying to charm cream tea off neighbouring tables.
