Cafe Cloud

Cafe Cloud is a vintage-leaning café near the harbour in Newquay that's big on comfort: breakfasts, homemade waffles, cream teas and plenty of cake-based decision making. Dogs are welcome inside, so you can all warm up together after a harbour wander.

They cater for a range of dietary needs too, making it a good choice for mixed groups where everyone wants something slightly different. It's a lovely stop when the wind has rearranged your hair into "sea creature chic" and your dog is ready for the sit-down part of the day.

Four-legged visitors are treated rather well, with free treats and water bowls available, plus doggy ice cream and puppuccinos to buy. Just keep the doggy etiquette sweet: no licking plates, hovering beneath other tables like a tiny pastry detective or attempting to carry off a waffle by stealth.
