Cafe on the Severn in Shrewsbury is a riverside café beside the River Severn, and dogs are welcome inside. It's naturally suited to post-walk refuelling, with breakfast, lunch and cake stops all working well when the day calls for something easy, scenic and unfussy.
The setting gives it that nice "we have done something wholesome" feeling, even if the real achievement is mostly coffee and a seated rest. It works for quick drinks or slower lunches while watching the river roll past and the dog recovers from intense sniff-based decision-making.
