A lovely riverside café that earns extra points immediately for being beside the River Severn and therefore naturally suited to post-walk refuelling. It works well for breakfast, lunch or a cake stop after a leg-stretch, especially if the day calls for something easy, scenic and unfussy. The setting gives it that nice “we have done something wholesome” feeling, even if the real achievement is mostly coffee and a seated rest. It is the sort of place that fits all kinds of visits, from a quick drink to a slower lunch while watching the river roll past and the dog recover from intense sniff-based decision-making. Handy, relaxed and very well placed for building a walk-and-café combo without too much logistical drama.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Treats available
Doggy Menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside, so this makes an easy riverside stop when everyone needs coffee, cake or lunch without splitting the pack. Expect a relaxed visit, a bit of post-walk decompression and a dog keeping one eye on the floor for pastry-related opportunities.
