That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

The Camp House Inn is the sort of countryside pub dogs secretly hope you’ll “accidentally” discover on a long walk. Tucked beside the River Severn in a peaceful rural setting, it’s a historic old inn with proper pub energy: relaxed, friendly and full of people who came for a quick drink and somehow stayed all afternoon.

The building itself dates back centuries and sits right on the riverbank, making it a brilliant stop after muddy wanderings and riverside exploring. Inside you’ll find that classic cosy pub feel where dogs are welcome to flop under the table while the humans refuel with a pint and something hearty. Expect wagging tails, muddy boots, and at least one dog who decides the pub rug is now their permanent residence
