The Camp House Inn is the sort of countryside pub dogs secretly hope you'll "accidentally" discover on a long walk. Tucked beside the River Severn in a peaceful rural setting near Worcester, it's a historic old inn with proper pub energy: relaxed, friendly and full of people who came for a quick drink and somehow stayed all afternoon. Dogs are welcome inside, so everyone can settle in together.
The building itself dates back centuries and sits right on the riverbank, making it a brilliant stop after muddy wanderings and riverside exploring. Inside you'll find that classic cosy pub feel, with hearty food, proper pints and the kind of atmosphere where muddy boots and wagging tails fit right in.
Expect dogs flopped under tables, at least one claiming the pub rug as permanent residence, and humans who planned a quick stop but lost track of time. It's the sort of place that turns a walk into an afternoon, with nobody minding in the slightest.
