The Canine Adventures dog wash is a DIY self-service wash bay at Ancroft Town Farm near Berwick-upon-Tweed. It's open 24/7 with no booking needed, so you can deal with muddy paws on your own schedule.
Expect warm water, two shampoo options plus conditioner, and a post-wash disinfectant. There's also a high-powered dryer with adjustable settings, and the bay includes two secure chains to help keep wrigglers safely in place while you wash.
Whether it's beach sand, farm mud or the general chaos of a Northumberland walk, the round-the-clock access means you can tackle the mess when it suits you—and leave the car boot a little less swampy.
