Castle Coole is a National Trust historic house and landscape estate on the edge of Enniskillen, with parkland, woodland and a scenic Lake Walk. Dogs are welcome across the wider estate, making it a fine day out when you want fresh air, heritage scenery and space for a proper wander. On-site parking sits opposite the castle entrance, with designated blue-badge spaces.
Your dog can join you on the Lake Walk and through the estate grounds, though leads are required in the Grand Yard, on the drying green, near the tea-room and bookshop and along the Lake Walk itself. The mansion house is open to assistance dogs only, so this is very much an outdoor visit—parkland, trees, lake views and the kind of long sniff-and-explore walk that keeps everyone happy. Castle Coole is typically open Monday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
House tours are booked on arrival, subject to availability. It's a generous slice of National Trust estate right beside Enniskillen, perfect when you want your dog beside you for the grounds but not the grand rooms.
