Castle Green and Cafe

In 2025 we welcomed CSONS to our brand new, beautifully restored building. The purpose-built cafe and roof terrace overlooking the River Wye is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast, coffee, lunch, tea, cakes and supper on selected evenings.

CSONS is four Crouch brothers (The CSONS) with an addiction to great food and drink. Utilising the amazing growers and producers found in the area, their menu reflects the best of local and seasonal produce. This close link with suppliers means that the menu changes regularly to reflect availability.

CSONS’ food is different. Using the best locally sourced produce and treating it with the respect it deserves, CSONS create simple, unpretentious, globally inspired and exciting dishes that shout about the ingredients, reflect the seasons and are full of flavour.
