Chapter Meadows Nature Reserve in Worcester is a peaceful green space beside the River Severn that feels more escape hatch than city-centre park. Dogs are welcome on paths and open spaces, so it suits slower walks, sniff-heavy loops and those "let's just keep going a bit longer" outings.

It has a softer, more natural feel than a formal garden, with a clear focus on conservation, biodiversity and community use. The reserve works well when the dog needs open air and a change of pace rather than a high-energy attraction, and it's the kind of place that suits riverside wandering and muddy-paw decompression.

A good one for quieter moments, wildlife watching (from a respectful distance) and dog walks that don't need a destination—just a bit more river, a bit more grass and a bit more time.
