The station is located close to Hereford centre, about 1.7 miles out and you can turn up without an appointment or book a time slot if you prefer a guaranteed space.

Everything's provided: shampoo, conditioner, spritz spray, towels, gloves, aprons, brushes, combs, dryers and heated water. You wash your own dog, which means you control the pace and keep the nervous wriggler calm and the kit takes care of the mess and the drying.

It's a practical stop after a muddy morning or before a long car journey and particularly useful if your bathroom at home doesn't forgive wet Labradors. The self-service format suits dogs who'd rather have their own person doing the scrubbing and it saves your tiles from another post-walk disaster.
