ZOOM OUT TO EXPLORE

Indoor Welcome Last Verified:

Chiswick House & Gardens is a formal heritage estate in west London, open daily from 7 am until dusk, with sweeping landscaped gardens and a historic Palladian villa. Dogs are welcome in the grounds on lead, making it a proper day-out destination for dog owners who want room to roam with their four-paws alongside historic parkland, woodland walks and carefully tended garden rooms.

The Kitchen Garden and Italian Gardens both welcome dogs on short leads and the same short-lead rule applies in the café outdoor area where it's signposted. Dogs aren't allowed inside the House, Conservatory or Shop, or in the picnic area, children's playground and Cricket Pavilion square, but the scale of the gardens means there's still plenty to explore together.

A public car park sits just off the westbound A4 and closer parking can be arranged by email if mobility is a concern. The gardens are free to visit daily; house tickets are bookable online when the villa is open Thursday to Sunday.
