Claremont Landscape Garden is an 18th-century National Trust landscape garden on the edge of Esher, just a short drive from Windsor, where dogs are welcome year-round on short leads across most of the historic grounds. They can join you inside the Gardener's Bothy café too, which is a genuine bonus on cooler days or when you need a break mid-wander. The lake, viewpoints and winding paths make it a lovely spot for a calm, scenery-led walk without the usual café door dilemma.
Dogs must stay on a short lead throughout the garden and are not allowed in the two play areas or in the lake itself. The landscape is peaceful, dog-friendly and designed for gentle exploration rather than off-lead sprints, so it suits dogs who enjoy slower, sniff-filled circuits and the occasional shady rest under a tree. Free on-site parking is confirmed and the garden is open daily from 10am to 4pm.
There's no need to pre-book for a standard visit. National Trust members visit free; non-members pay standard garden admission.

Dog Policy:
Dogs on short leads are welcome year-round in most of the garden and inside the Gardener's Bothy café. They're not permitted in the two play areas or in the lake.
