Cockington Court and Cockington Country Park is a substantial day-out destination near Torquay, combining a managed country park with craft studios, a café and woodland walks. Dogs are genuinely welcome across the estate's public outdoor areas and surrounding parkland, with ample opportunity for proper walks and exploration beyond the manicured grounds. The site includes estate paths, lakeside walks and access to Manscombe Woods.

The estate spans several car parks within walking distance of the main attractions, so you're not fussing with a single tight car park. The craft centre, studios and café make it easy to spend a half-day or more without needing to plan a second stop.

Keep leads on and dogs under control in the rose garden, organic garden, Stable Yard, Sea Change studio area and near the Manor House and Café. Elsewhere on the estate and country park, dogs can roam more freely on the walks and paths where they belong.
