Coffee and Clay is a central Skipton café on the High Street where dogs are welcome inside the downstairs café area. The menu runs throughout the day and the relaxed vibe makes it easy to settle in with your dog while you eat and drink without any fuss.

Upstairs there's pottery painting for anyone who fancies adding a creative session to their Skipton stop, though that's a humans-only zone. Downstairs stays dog-friendly all day, so your four-legged supervisor can stay put while you work through the cake menu or wait for the rest of the group to finish decorating mugs.

It's open Monday to Saturday from 9.30 am to 4.15 pm and Sunday from 10.30 am to 4.15 pm, making it a useful mid-morning or lunch break right in the middle of town. The combination of guaranteed indoor dog access and a proper sit-down café makes it a reliable choice when the weather turns or you all need a breather.
