Coffee Barker is a sit-in café tucked inside Castle Arcade, one of Cardiff's prettiest Victorian shopping arcades, just a couple of minutes' walk from Cardiff Castle.

Dogs are welcome inside in designated seating areas on one side of the room and there are outdoor tables in the arcade too if your dog prefers fresh air and people-watching. It's open Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4 pm, Saturdays until 5.30 pm and Sundays from 10 am to 4.30 pm, making it a useful breakfast or mid-morning stop when you're exploring the city centre with your dog. The arcade setting means shelter from the rain without losing the buzz of the high street.
