Colby Woodland Garden

Colby Woodland Garden is a National Trust garden near Tenby, set in eight acres of peaceful woodland with paths winding through rhododendrons, camellias and magnolias. Dogs on leads are welcome all year round across most of the garden, making it a proper day out when you want somewhere green, calm and dog-included. The tearoom welcomes dogs inside, so you can both settle in after a wander without the faff of taking turns outside.

There's also a visitor centre and gallery on site. The walled garden and bookshop are the only areas where dogs aren't allowed, but the woodland paths more than make up for it.

National Trust car parking is available, though the dog policy page sensibly reminds visitors not to leave dogs in the car due to limited shade. Colby Woodland Garden sits on the Tenby-to-Pendine bus corridor and offers exactly the sort of outing where everyone gets fresh air, a decent sniff and a sit-down with a cup of tea.
