Coleton Fishacre is a National Trust garden and estate perched on the South Devon coast near Torquay, mixing formal gardens, woodland and coastal paths into one substantial visitor day out. The 22-acre grounds are a proper walking destination—RHS-accredited, layered with marked trails and views worth the trip.
Dogs on short leads are welcome throughout the garden, shop and café, though they're not allowed inside the house itself. Keep them on the paths and under close control and you've got the run of the outdoor spaces: the whole garden, the gift shop and the café terrace if you need a break with a drink.
Parking is straightforward with Blue Badge spaces, a drop-off point and plenty of car park room plus overflow options. This is the sort of place where you can spend an afternoon—trails, garden sniffs, a sit-down with coffee and a nose around the shop—all dog-friendly and all anchored firmly outdoors.
