That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

You can explore the sanctuary grounds, viewing areas and woodland sections with your dog, watching rescued seals and resident animals without the usual who waits outside negotiations. Only the Seal Hospital and indoor cafe are off limits; sheltered outdoor seating is available at the cafe, so you can rest and refuel with your dog settled beside you. This is a ticketed attraction with a seal rescue and release story at its heart, viewing platforms and plenty of outdoor interest for nose-led wandering.

Dogs must stay on leads and vaccinations should be up to date, which keeps everyone safe around the resident animals. Water bowls and dog bins are provided around the site, so lead-and-bag logistics are straightforward.

Assistance dogs are exempt from the access restrictions. It is a practical choice for dog owners who want a full day out rather than a short browse and the fact that most of the attraction allows dogs means less planning stress.
