The Craven Heifer is a roadside inn on the Grassington Road approach to Skipton, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Dogs are welcome inside in the bar and part of the restaurant, with food served in both areas, so the whole group can settle in together after a morning walk or long drive.

The bar runs from half past eight in the morning until late evening, with lunch and dinner served through the week and all-day weekend food service on Saturdays. It's useful for through-travellers heading to or from Grassington, particularly when you need a proper meal rather than just a quick stop.

CAMRA marks it dog friendly and visitors regularly mention the welcoming bar team. There's parking at the rear, which helps when you're juggling leads and bags on arrival.
