Croft Castle

Croft Castle is a National Trust castle and estate near Leominster, about 11 miles from Ludlow, where dogs on leads are welcome across the garden and parkland. The walled garden, the grounds outside the castle and the glazed area of the tea-room are all open to dogs, so you can enjoy a proper countryside day out without leaving anyone behind in the car.

The castle house itself is off-limits to dogs, but the parkland and gardens offer plenty of space for a wander between sniff breaks. The glazed tea-room section means you can sit down with a cup of tea while your dog settles at your feet, which is always welcome after a circuit of the estate.

Designated on-site parking is available and the estate is open daily from 11am to 4pm. It's a straightforward National Trust visit with clear, honest access for dogs—grounds and garden all the way, castle viewing for the humans only.
