The Crown Inn is a family-run village pub in Askrigg, around five miles from Hawes in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Dogs are welcome inside and the pub serves home-cooked food alongside a friendly local atmosphere and open log fires. It's the sort of place where your dog can settle in by the fire while you work through lunch or an evening meal.

Food is served at lunchtime from 12pm to 2pm and in the evening from 6pm to 8:30pm. The menu focuses on hearty, home-cooked dishes and dogs can stay with you throughout. The pub is closed on Wednesdays and opening hours vary across the week.

Askrigg sits in prime walking country, making this a natural stop after a morning on the fells or a wander along the Dales lanes. Expect a warm welcome, a proper fire and the kind of pub that knows exactly why you've brought the dog along.
