Devil's Bridge Waterfalls

Devil's Bridge Waterfalls near Aberystwyth is a dramatic gorge and waterfall attraction where fit, agile dogs are welcome on lead across the heritage nature trails. The site features 675 steep, uneven stone steps including the famous Jacob's Ladder, so this one's for dogs who tackle serious climbs without hesitation. A level tarmac viewpoint area is available by prior arrangement or by asking the attendant for the gate code when open.

Large dogs may struggle with the turnstiles, though attendant hours make entry easier. The walks can be slippery when wet and aren't suitable after dusk, in ice or high winds. Dogs must stay on lead throughout.

Devil's Bridge Waterfalls is open seven days a week from 7am to 8.30pm, with walk access all year subject to weather conditions. Don't start the trail after dusk. The site has a free customer car park for around 35 cars, with overflow parking at nearby Woodlands Caravan Park or Hafod Hotel car park when full.
