Doddington Hall & Gardens near Lincoln is an Elizabethan estate with plenty to offer visitors exploring with a dog. Dogs are welcome on the estate trails, where you can enjoy countryside walks around the wider grounds, although they cannot enter the formal ticketed Gardens or Hall itself.
After a walk, dogs can join you in the Grain Store Café or in the Farm Shop Café Courtyard, with water bowls available outside both. They are also welcome in the Home and Country Clothing shops, where there are even treats on hand for visiting pups.
For anyone wanting to make more of a stay, Doddington also has two dog-friendly holiday cottages on the estate. It makes a particularly useful stop for a countryside walk followed by food or a browse, with enough genuinely dog-friendly spaces that nobody needs to be left behind.

Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome on-lead in the estate parkland and downstairs in the Grain Store Café, but they can't enter the formal Gardens, Hall, Farm Shop, Farm Shop Café or Tea Room. The parkland walks are free to access daily, so nobody needs to pay garden admission to enjoy a stroll with four-legged company.
