Drummond Castle Gardens near Crieff is one of Scotland's most beautiful formal gardens and dogs are very welcome to join you throughout the grounds on lead. The historic terraced gardens are open seasonally from 1 May to 31 October and they make a brilliant dog-friendly day out within easy reach of Stirling. Your dog can explore the formal terraces, ornamental beds and sweeping paths with you, taking in the full scale of this impressive designed landscape.
The terrain includes steep hillside and steps in places, so keep that in mind if your dog is less steady on their feet. Official parking is directed to the castle courtyard and ticket office when you arrive and you can buy tickets online in advance or on the day.
Dogs must stay on a lead at all times and the castle itself is not open to the public. Opening hours run from 11:00 to 17:00 between June and September and 11:00 to 16:00 in October, with last entry an hour before closing each day.
