Dyffryn Gardens

Dyffryn Gardens is a spectacular National Trust garden estate near Cardiff, offering 55 acres of formal garden rooms, arboretum and parkland where dogs are welcome almost everywhere. Your dog can explore the walled gardens, lawns, tree-lined avenues and seasonal borders on lead and they're also welcome inside the shop and Gardens Cafe—a genuinely useful touch when you need a tea stop without leaving your four-legged companion in the car. Water bowls are thoughtfully placed at the Visitor Welcome Centre, Dyffryn House, the South Terrace, the Cory Education Centre and the Glasshouse, so there's no shortage of refreshment stops on a long garden wander.

Dogs must stay on a short lead throughout and they're excluded from the two log stack play areas and inside the Glasshouse itself. Free on-site parking includes accessible spaces and an electric vehicle charging point.

The gardens are open daily from 10am to 5pm, with last entry one hour before closing. Normal National Trust admission applies.
