East Northdown Nursery is very much a plant nursery rather than a glossy garden-centre machine, and that is exactly its appeal. The nursery says it specialises in coastal and chalk-loving plants propagated on site, with a broad range of trees, shrubs, perennials and old-fashioned conservatory plants, plus only a limited selection of typical garden-centre extras. It feels like the right destination for proper plant people who want expertise, local growing knowledge and something more rooted than retail-first.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Treats available

Doggy Menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome to join you while you browse, making this a relaxed plant-hunting stop where muddy paws, garden inspiration, and a café break can all happen in one visit.
