Easton Walled Gardens is a substantial restored walled garden and visitor attraction east of Stamford, with a seasonal dog policy that makes it useful year-round for different reasons. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the Courtyard Shops and Coffee Room any time during opening hours, giving you a proper browse-and-break destination even when the gardens themselves are off limits. The main Gardens open for ordinary dogs only on selected Dog Days in March and August.
Outside those dates, the Gardens remain assistance-dogs only during normal visiting hours. It's a clear system, not a disappointment—plenty of garden-owning dog lovers visit twice, once for the Courtyard facilities and again when the full estate throws open its gates to four-paws. Parking and admission to the Courtyard Shops and Coffee Room are free; garden visitors use the estate parking area.
The venue opens Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm, with the Gardens themselves opening at 11am on usual open days. Check ahead for the exact Dog Days dates if you're planning a full garden visit with your dog in tow.
