Elementary Dog Park is a fully enclosed dog exercise field just outside York that sounds built for proper off-lead freedom rather than a quick lead walk and done. With over two acres of grassland plus play equipment including tunnels, obstacles, a sand pit and scent features, it feels geared towards both zoomies and brain work.

The countryside setting gives it a calmer edge, while the secure layout makes it especially useful for dogs who need space, privacy or a safer run than a public park can offer. Private hire means no surprise encounters, just your dog and whatever tunnel-sniffing agenda they've planned.

It's the kind of field that works for recall training, nervous dogs building confidence, or simply letting a high-energy hound burn off steam without the usual public-park politics.

Dog Policy:

This place is built for dogs, so the usual rules are happily dog-shaped. Supervise well, shut gates properly and let the zoomies fly without turning it into canine Formula 1.
