Erne Boat Hire offers self-drive boat hire on Lough Erne from Enniskillen and dogs are welcome on board. The company says it's dog-friendly and keeps a limited number of dog buoyancy aids available for your four-legged crew. Minimum hire is four hours, giving you proper time to explore the island town and surrounding waterways without rushing anyone—two-legged or otherwise.
The boats launch from the jetty at Regal Pass in central Enniskillen, open daily from 10am to 6.30pm. You can book online and collect your boat on the day. Dogs must stay supervised by the hirer and the hire terms ask that you only dock at public jetties or in emergencies, so plan your route with that in mind.
There's no on-site parking, but nearby options include Enniskillen Forum car park and the pay-and-display at the bus station, both a short walk from the jetty. It's a proper Lough Erne outing with your dog beside you on the water.
