Esplanade

The Esplanade is a seafront bar and restaurant on Bangor's Ballyholme coast, open seven days with a dog-friendly back bar where your four-legged supervisor can join you for drinks and food. Dogs are welcome inside, so there's no need to leave anyone in the car while you settle in with a pint or a meal. The back bar is the place to head with a dog in tow.

Pull up a chair, order from the menu and let your table supervisor take up their usual post. It's a proper visitor-friendly pub with indoor dining, making it handy for a bite after a coastal walk or a mid-afternoon pit stop.

Open Monday to Thursday 11:30am–11pm, Friday and Saturday 11:30am–11:30pm and Sunday 12:30–10:30pm. On Bangor's seafront, it's well placed for a stroll before or after your visit and the kind of spot where wet paws and a need for refreshment are both easily managed.
