Fable & Green is a café, bar and antiques space at 67–69 Oxford Street in the heart of Whitstable, where dogs are welcome inside to join you at the table. The room is filled with carefully curated antiques and vintage homewares, so there is always something to look at while the coffee arrives.
The kitchen covers brunch, lunch and Sunday roasts, with prosecco afternoon teas available to book Thursday to Sunday. Summer hours are Monday, Friday and Saturday 9am–4pm and Sunday 9am–3pm, with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday closed. There is no on-site parking, but street parking on Oxford Street and nearby town-centre car parks are the usual options.
For anyone exploring Whitstable with a dog in tow, the indoor welcome means a wet or windy day does not have to end at the doorstep — paws and people can settle in together for as long as the food and the antiques hold their attention.
