Fairhaven Lake and Gardens

Fairhaven Lake and Gardens is a managed lakeside attraction in Lytham St Annes where dogs are welcome throughout the grounds on lead. The site offers boat hire, adventure golf, tennis, bowls, a cafe and a visitor centre, making it a proper day-out destination for families with dogs in tow. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times under Fylde Council's dog control order.

The lakeside grounds give plenty of scope for a lead walk with decent sniffing opportunities and the mix of water, greenery and visitor facilities means there's something for everyone while the dog gets a change of scene. The cafe welcomes dogs in a separate sun lounge area and outdoor seating, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle. Sensitive play and sports areas are controlled, so follow signage and keep your dog close. Parking is available on-site at the tennis courts and at nearby Stanner Bank and St Paul's Avenue car parks.

The grounds are open all hours and the cafe operates daily except Mondays, with seven-day opening during school holidays. It's a solid, multi-activity spot where the whole group can spend a few hours exploring the lake, watching the wildlife and enjoying the Fylde coast setting without splitting up.
