Fairhaven Woodland & Water Garden is one of those places where everything just slows down the moment you step in. Set in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, it’s over 130 acres of peaceful woodland, water, and winding paths that feel a world away from the busier parts of Great Yarmouth.

There are miles of trails to wander, open views across the broad, and plenty of quiet corners to pause, sit, and take it all in. Depending on when you visit, you’ll find everything from spring blooms and wildflowers to birdlife, butterflies, and that constant gentle soundtrack of nature.

It’s less about “what do we do next?” and more about just wandering together — the kind of place that turns into a proper reset for both you and your dog.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome throughout the gardens (50p per dog) but must be kept on a short lead at all times. Please clean up after your dog. Dogs aren’t allowed inside the tearoom, but there’s outdoor seating available.
