Fairways Garden Centre is a handy Ashbourne stop for dog owners who want an easy browse without leaving their pup behind. Part of the Fairways family-run group, the Ashbourne site mixes plants, gifts, home bits and pet products, so it works well as a slower detour between bigger Peak District walks and town-centre wandering.

It is especially useful on a dog-friendly break because dogs are welcome in the garden centre itself, which means you can potter, browse and pick up a few things without splitting the pack. Just note that dogs are not allowed in the café, although there is designated outdoor seating for visitors with dogs and limited undercover seating at the Ashbourne store.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside Fairways Garden Centre, so it is an easy Ashbourne browse stop with your pup in tow. Just keep them on a lead, off the furniture displays and out of the café itself, then it is all very civilised garden-centre pottering with a side of sniffing.
