Felbrigg Hall, Gardens and Estate

Felbrigg Hall, Gardens and Estate is a grand National Trust property just outside Cromer, offering 520 acres of parkland, woodland trails and a handsome 17th-century hall. Dogs are welcome across most of the estate, making it a brilliant half- or full-day destination when you need somewhere proper to explore together without leaving anyone in the car. Your dog can join you in the tea-room and shop, both on leads, so you can grab a pot of tea or browse the plant selection without the usual solo dash.

The historic house and formal gardens—including the West Garden and Walled Garden—are off-limits to dogs, but the estate grounds, courtyard and trails more than make up for it. Between 1 March and 31 July, all dogs must stay on leads throughout the estate to protect ground-nesting birds. Outside those months, lead rules apply in designated areas.

National Trust members park free; non-members pay £5 per car. Check current opening times and area availability before you visit.
