Fishbourne Roman Palace

Fishbourne Roman Palace is a major heritage site just outside Chichester, famous for its stunning Roman mosaics and gardens. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the gardens, shop and café, making it a useful stop for a short heritage day out when you want to keep your dog with you for part of the visit.

The Palace gardens are peaceful and planted with species known to the Romans, offering a quiet wander before or after you've explored the indoor exhibits. Your dog can join you for a café break and a browse in the shop, but the museum itself—including the mosaics area—is off limits to dogs.
