Flat White Café sits just across Elvet Bridge in the heart of Durham, a popular brunch and coffee stop for locals and visitors exploring the city centre. Dogs are welcome inside, so you can settle in together over flat whites, cakes and toasted dishes without splitting up the group.
The café serves coffee, brunch and light bites Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sundays from 10am to 4pm. It's a bright, relaxed space where your dog can supervise proceedings from under the table while you refuel between cathedral visits or riverside walks.
Whether you're stopping mid-morning for a slice of cake or grabbing lunch after crossing the bridge, Flat White Café keeps things simple and dog-friendly. No garden or outdoor seating required—just good coffee and the relief of staying warm and dry together.
