Geevor Tin Mine in Pendeen is a large heritage mine museum just outside St Ives, offering a proper industrial day out where dogs are welcome across the entire site—including the surface buildings and Hard Rock Museum. Only the underground mine tour is off-limits to ordinary pet dogs, though assistance dogs can go everywhere. Water is provided at various points around the site and you can easily make a day of it exploring the mill, buildings and outdoor areas together.
Open Sunday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (closed Saturdays), the museum has a café on-site and free all-day parking for visitors. Booking ahead is recommended, especially if you want to join a guided tour.
Last entry is 3pm November to March, or 4pm April to October, giving you plenty of time to wander the surface exhibits with a sniffing companion in tow. It's a genuinely dog-friendly heritage attraction where most of the experience is accessible together, making it one of the more thoughtful museum visits you'll find on the Tin Coast.
