The Giant's Causeway is a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the dramatic Causeway Coast, about ten miles from Ballycastle. This iconic natural wonder of hexagonal basalt columns draws visitors from around the world and the National Trust runs the site as a fully dog-friendly destination where dogs on leads are welcome throughout. Your dog can join you across the entire experience: walking the coastal paths and exploring the famous stones, visiting the exhibition and interpretation areas inside the Visitor Centre and even joining you in the café.

Guided tours also welcome dogs on leads, so you can learn the geology and legends without leaving anyone in the car. It's a proper day out for dog owners who want to experience one of Northern Ireland's most celebrated natural sites together.

The official National Trust visit page lists seasonal opening times and on-site parking is available for visitors. Keep your dog on a lead throughout, follow the site signs and stay mindful around wildlife and livestock.
