That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Gift Horse is a handy little Seahouses stop when you need a gentle indoor wander that isn't "another lap of the harbour" because the dog has already done that lap three times. It's a traditional independent gift shop with a good mix of items that feel properly chosen, not just filler on shelves.

This is the sort of place you pop into while you're waiting for food, sorting plans, or giving everyone a break from the wind. There's something reassuring about a shop like this on a coastal trip: it's warm, calm, and you can pick up a small treat or a thoughtful present without having to think too hard. Cards, jewellery, accessories and gift bits make it a good option if you're travelling and want to bring home something that actually feels like "I was away", rather than "I panicked at the last minute".

It's especially useful on dog-holiday days when you're balancing walks with rest stops. A little browse can be the perfect pause between the morning stretch and the afternoon plans, with the bonus of leaving with something lovely.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome, but they ask for dry dogs only (no soggy post-beach visitors). Keep pups close and under control while browsing smaller spaces.
