Glenarm Castle & Garden is a historic estate near Ballycastle with walled gardens, woodland walks and formal grounds where dogs are welcome in all outdoor areas on a short lead. The estate also runs a dedicated Dog Park where you can book hour-long sessions for proper off-lead exercise with your dog — a rare offering at a heritage attraction. The Walled Garden, Woodland Walk and other designated estate areas make for a rewarding day out with your dog, though indoor venues including the castle, shops and tea room are not open to dogs.

The Mini Land Rover course is also out of bounds. The estate is open Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm, with Dog Park sessions bookable throughout the day.

Advance booking for the Dog Park is essential. Last entry to the Walled Garden is at 4:15 pm and the final Dog Park slot is at 4:30 pm.
