That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Glendurgan Garden is a National Trust garden and maze attraction near Truro, set in a wooded valley with exotic planting, giant rhubarb, camellias and laurel tunnels. Dogs are welcome on short fixed leads throughout most of the garden, making it a proper half-day or full-day dog-friendly attraction for anyone planning a day out around Falmouth or Truro. The maze, apple orchard and Schoolroom are off-limits except for assistance dogs, but there is still plenty of ground to explore together.
The garden is open with current hours listed online and there are tea-house, shop and toilet facilities on site. Car parking is available with pay-and-display charges for non-members and JustPark is also an option.
It is a genuine destination attraction rather than a quick stop, so worth building into the day if you want a dog-included outing that involves more than pavement mooching. Short fixed leads are required, which means no flexi or retractable leads, so worth sorting out the lead situation before arrival.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Treats available
Doggy Menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome on short fixed leads throughout the garden, except in the maze, apple orchard and Schoolroom, where only assistance dogs are allowed.
