Allt Mor Café sits at the heart of Glenmore Visitor Centre, a few miles east of Aviemore on the edge of Glenmore Forest Park. Dogs are welcome inside the café, so you can settle in together with muddy boots and damp paws after a forest loop or a walk around Loch Morlich. It's a warm, practical stop for coffee, cake and lunch.
The café serves hot drinks, home baking and light lunches daily. Opening hours shift with the season: April to October it's open 9am to 5pm, November to March 10am to 4pm.
The visitor centre also has displays about the Cairngorms landscape and local wildlife, but the café is the real draw for dog owners needing a sit-down and a refuel. Glenmore is a handy base for exploring the forest trails and the shores of Loch Morlich and the café makes a reliable halfway or finishing point when you're planning a day out with the dog in the Cairngorms.
