The Gloucestershire Vintage & Country Extravaganza is a major outdoor heritage festival held annually at South Cerney Airfield near Cirencester and dogs are welcome to join you on lead throughout the open-air showground. Expect live arenas, vintage vehicle displays, a model tent, animal arena, dog show, funfair, food stalls and countryside attractions spread across the greenfield site.
The event runs over the August bank holiday weekend, with gates opening at 10am and latest entry at 4pm each day. Advance tickets are available and dogs must stay on lead at all times across the showground.
Disabled parking is provided adjacent to the main public entry gate, accessed via Northmoor Lane. With so much to explore and a full day of heritage transport and countryside entertainment, it's a brilliant reason to pack the lead and spend the weekend tangled in vintage machinery and sniff-worthy livestock.
