Glovers Needle is a Greene King pub on Windermere Drive in Worcester, part of the Hungry Horse family and built for the kind of casual visit where nobody wants a fuss.
The menu runs classic pub staples — fish and chips, steaks, burgers — alongside kids’ and seniors’ menus, making it a practical refuelling stop for mixed groups after a walk or an easy evening out. The pub is open Monday to Saturday from noon to 11pm and Sunday from 11:30am until 10:30pm, with food served Monday to Saturday until 9pm and Sunday until 8pm. Free on-site parking is available to the front and side of the building, including three Blue Badge bays.
Dogs are welcome inside in the bar areas, with water bowls and treats available to help them settle in. The pub also sells sausages and chicken suitable for dogs, so those hopeful eyes beneath the table might just get their reward. A reliable neighbourhood stop for hearty plates, a pint, and the whole group together without anyone doing the pavement shuffle.
