Gosford Forest Park

Gosford Forest Park is a purpose-built forest day out near Markethill, just over seven miles from Armagh City and dogs are welcome throughout the forest and trails on a short lead. The park offers 16 kilometres of trails, a deer park, play areas and picnic facilities, along with food kiosks and on-site car parking with posted parking rates and annual passes available.

It's open daily from 8 am to 8 pm. Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times around the trails and they're not to run free around the caravan and camping sites.

Otherwise, the forest is theirs to enjoy alongside red deer sightings, shaded paths and proper day-out infrastructure designed for families and dog owners alike. With plenty of ground to cover, decent facilities and a clear welcome for dogs across the forest, Gosford Forest Park is a solid choice when you want a woodland outing that's easy to reach, easy to park and reliably open all week.
