Grayz Tea Room is a family-owned tearoom on Bailgate, Lincoln's castle-and-cathedral hill, serving breakfast, lunch and homemade cakes daily. Dogs are welcome inside, so the whole group can settle in together after a morning exploring Lincoln Castle or the Cathedral Quarter.

The indoor seating is warm and relaxed, with generous portions and a friendly welcome regularly praised by visitors. Whether you're stopping for coffee and cake or a proper sit-down lunch, your dog can join you at the table without fuss.

Open every day from 10am to 5pm, Grayz makes a practical base for a Bailgate day out. It's the kind of local tearoom where the dog gets a hello at the door and you can take your time over a pot of tea without worrying about the lead tangled round the chair legs.
