Grosvenor Park

The award-winning Grosvenor Park located overlooking the River Dee is a popular open space for both locals and visitors and is home to the glorious Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre each Summer.

The park, one of the finest Victorian examples, underwent a considerable renovation project in 2014 and the 5.8 hectares of landscaped parkland is now a jewel in Chester's cultural crown,

There's plenty of space to let off steam and children will love the Miniature railway and Activity Zone. Refreshments are available from the onsite Lodge Cafe.

Grosvenor Park is open all year round from the following times:

January – February: 8am – 5pm*
March: 8am – 6pm*
April – June: 8am – 7pm*
July – September: 8am – 9.30pm*
October: 8am – 6pm*
November – December: 8am – 4 pm*
