A proper local pet shop up in Chesterton where the “quick stop” usually turns into a full browse. Just a couple of miles from the city centre with easy parking, it’s the kind of place that’s built for real-life dog owners — simple to get to, easy to pop into, and well worth the detour.

Inside, it’s packed in the best way. Shelves of natural treats (including a very dangerous pick ‘n’ mix situation), alongside toys, training bits, beds, leads, and all the everyday essentials you didn’t realise you needed until you saw them. There’s a strong focus on natural food too, including their own Bark 4 More range, so it’s a good one for stocking up properly rather than just grabbing one thing.

They also offer local delivery within six miles, which makes life that bit easier when you’re running low. But it’s one of those shops where it’s worth heading in person — especially with your dog — for a proper look around and a slower, more satisfying kind of shop.
