Guardhouse Cafe sits on Berry Head, a scenic headland above Torquay offering year-round food and drink with uncluttered views and sea air. Dogs are welcome inside the cafe and the location doubles as a natural refreshment stop after exploring the Berry Head Nature Reserve trails nearby. The venue operates daily with current menus and active event programming.

Parking is available at the Berry Head car park, though the cafe is about a 300-metre walk from the spaces—manageable once you've got the dog on the lead and you're settled into the rhythm. Most visitors come for the combination of decent cafe food and a proper excuse to sit down mid-walk without leaving your dog behind.

Keep dogs on a lead and well behaved inside and you'll fit in easily. The berry-picked location and year-round opening mean you can return any season.
