Hands Solo in Ilfracombe is a gift and craft shop where dogs are welcome inside, so everyone can browse together without the pavement-waiting shuffle. It's ideal for mooching with a well-behaved pup on lead, especially if you like unique finds, local crafts and things that make you say "That's so cute" out loud.

Dogs tend to enjoy shops like this because there are interesting smells, friendly people and plenty of chances to practise calm manners without the intensity of a busy café. Just watch the tail – happy wagging and display stands are natural enemies.

It's a good "let's pop in here" stop between walks, especially when the weather is doing that Devon thing again and you need a dry browse that keeps paws and people together.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Free treats available

Doggy menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle. Please keep them on a lead and watch the wagging tail around the displays.
