Happy & Glorious is one of those shops that feels like a little pocket of joy just a few steps from Canterbury Cathedral. Tucked along Burgate, it’s packed with beautifully designed, British-made gifts and homeware, the kind of things you didn’t plan to buy but suddenly can’t leave without.

Inside, it’s a mix of thoughtful, design-led pieces, from candles and jewellery to prints, plants and small home touches, all carefully curated with a strong focus on quality and independent makers. It’s not just a shop either, the space regularly hosts creative workshops and events, adding that extra layer of “stay a while” rather than just browse and go.

There’s a warm, personal feel throughout, the kind of place where gift shopping becomes a bit of an experience rather than a task, especially when you’re wandering the nearby streets and want something more interesting than the usual high street options.

Dogs are welcome inside, so they can join you while you browse, likely appointing themselves head of quality control in the gift department 🐾

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Treats available

Doggy Menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs welcome inside. Browse slowly, sniff politely. Keep dogs on a lead and close in narrow aisles.

Seen this?  It marks our Recommended Partners - places that go that bit further, so dogs feel properly welcome (and you can actually relax)
